Music Exploration 102 is an enriching, hands-on class designed for homeschool students ages 8-14 who are ready to dive deeper into the building blocks of music. Whether continuing from Music Exploration 101 or starting fresh, students will engage in creative music-making while development foundational skills in rhythm, melody, harmony, and musical form.

Through singing, instrument exploration, group activities, and guided listening, students will learn to read basic music notation, recognize musical patterns, and understand how music is structured across cultures and time periods. Emphasis is placed on collaborative music experiences, creativity, and personal expression.

Students will also explore a variety of instruments and may participate in beginner ensemble work and improvisation.

The cost is $200 for the 10-week course with 60-minute weekly classes Tuesdays 2:15-3:15pm meeting November 11th through January 27th (no classes December 23rd and December 30th).
