Join us for our adult art series - A Taste of Art - where we’ll feature a different art medium or style each month. We’ll learn a little bit about the medium or style, do a little practice, and then do a simple project, while having some food, drink, and good conversation! It’s a great chance to unwind at the end of the week! For complete beginners or for creatives who want to try something new!

For September, we will be learning all about alcohol inks. We will do some practice and learn some techniques, then you can choose to do your own designs on ceramic tiles or Yupo synthetic paper. You can just play and see what abstract designs you create, or you can do a painting of flowers, a landscape, or whatever you’d like to try!

Note: alcohol inks are made with isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol. While not dangerous for the amount and length of the time we are using it in an open space, if this smell bothers you, you may want to consider bringing a mask or respirator. We cannot provide these. We will provide non-latex gloves and optional safety glasses.

Price includes use of supplies, charcuterie, and Lynfred wine,* water, or coffee.
