Jewelry 101: Tools & Findings Workshop - Saturday September 6, 2025, 2-5pm

$60.00

This fall we will be doing a series of jewelry-making workshops. We are kicking it off with a beginner’s course introducing students to common tools and materials used to create jewelry. Do you know what a finding is? Do you know how to open and close a jump ring? Are you familiar with different types of metals and gauges? Do you know the difference between bead size 11/0 and 8/0? If not, this course is for you! You will get lots of hands-on practice so you’ll be making jewelry in no time!

If you think you’d like to take one of the workshops later in the fall, then you should take this class, as many of these skills are a prerequisite for the subsequent classes.

If you have your own tools, feel free to bring them. If not, you can use ours during the class, or you may opt to purchase a toolkit which we will give you at the start of class and you can take home.

Ages: 11 to Adult

Class size: min: 4, max: 12
