Our Ceramics Studio allow you to work on your own pieces at your own pace! We will have 1-3 hours available for independent clay work, depending on the selected date.

Prerequisite: This class is not intended for complete beginners. You must have prior hand building or wheel throwing experience. You qualify if you have previously taken a clay class with us. if you would like to do wheel throwing, you must first take the Beginners Wheel Throwing class or have prior wheel throwing experience.

What is included/important notes

• Clay, glazes, and kiln firing are included. We are still working to build our supply of clay and glazes, so if you have a specific need, please contact us prior to registering. You may create up to 3 pieces in a session. Please understand that this is not a commercial studio.

• You cannot bring pieces created outside of our studio to fire at this time.

• We do not have an extra large kiln. Please discuss your design ideas with the instructor present prior to creating any large piece to ensure we can accommodate firing the piece.

• We currently only do low-fire (C/04 bisque and C/06 glaze) firings.

• Please review our Ceramics Studio Policies and our general policies.

How to register

When signing up, first select the date desired.

Then select the activity: wheel throwing, hand building, or just glazing.

Then indicate the duration (2-3 hours for wheel throwing/hand building, 1 hour glazing only).

The quantity indicates how many attendees. (Usually leave at 1.)

NOTE FOR PRIOR ATTENDEES:

We are no longer allowing credits for unused time to be carried forward. If you currently have unused credits, please call or email us to use that credit for an upcoming session.
