Have you ever wanted to develop your own original character and feature them in a short comic? Then this character creation course is perfect for you! Broken into three classes, students will develop an original character, create a full character sheet, and produce a ten-page comic featuring that character. This course focuses on young artists’ skills in developing an original character and maintaining consistency across different poses, angles, and expressions.  It also lets students develop their storytelling skills through visual art.

This is a THREE WEEK course. Classes are from 6:00-7:30pm on:

Looking for a fun event or craft to do with the whole family? Come on over to the Roselle Fine Arts Academy; we're rolling out our Family Fun Series! Artists of all ages are welcome as we focus on the creating of art of various different mediums.

We at the Roselle Fine Arts Academy love and appreciate the wonderful autumnal season, so we will be venturing outside with your family to draw and paint a guided still life with steps appropriate for all ages and skill levels. You can even enjoy a complimentary cup of hot cocoa or coffee on us! After a short period outside observing the still life we have set up for you, artists will gather in our second floor art studio to complete the step by step instruction of drawing from reference and adding color with either watercolor or colored pencil.

For children under the age of 5, we request that a parent or guardian please be present.

NOTE: When registering, leave the Quantity field at “1” and select the number of participants. This will give you the discount for every additional participant in your group.

If you are looking for a fun, interactive, and affordable way for you to be creative with your infant or toddler, Art Factory is for you! Brought back to the Roselle Fine Arts Academy and reimagined like never before!

We combine art, storytelling, and sensory-friendly activities for your child, ages from infancy to five years old. Join us for our Hand Painted Turkeys and Leaf Reliefs, where you and your child are able to paint and decorate turkeys just in time for Thanksgiving. Weather permitting, this will be a partially outdoor event where we will be able to search for fallen leaves and use that as a part of our final masterpiece. This will include child safe paint, unexpected painting tools, and various decorative elements.

NOTE: When registering, leave the Quantity field at “1” and select the desired bundle. This will give you the discount for the Art Factory sessions for November 3rd and December 7th.
